Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. According to organisers, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for eu news politics schools.
